Solution Engineer (AppSec)

What you will do

• Lead technical discovery with prospects and understand their architecture, challenges, and success criteria.
• Design solution architectures integrating SCM, CI/CD, ticketing, registries, and identity systems.
• Own proof-of-value engagements end to end and connect platform capabilities to measurable outcomes such as reduced risk and improved developer velocity.
• Build ROI and risk models for executive stakeholders and partner with Sales to drive technical wins.
• Collaborate with Customer Success on post-sale handoffs and early customer success.
• Support security and compliance reviews, provide competitive insights, and share customer learnings with Product and Engineering.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Solution Engineering, Sales Engineering, Technical Consulting, or security architecture.
• Experience in AppSec, DevSecOps, or Cloud Security.
• Strong understanding of the SDLC and modern infrastructure, including SCM, CI/CD, containers, and Kubernetes.
• Hands-on familiarity with AppSec tools such as SAST, DAST, IAST, SCA, secrets detection, API security, IaC scanning, or threat modeling.
• Proven experience running structured proof-of-value engagements that deliver measurable customer value.
• Professional fluency in English and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to technical and executive audiences.
