What you will do
- Define requirements and prioritize features for the on-device runtime engine and vision tools integration library.
- Design and develop high-performance, cross-platform native software using modern C++.
- Optimize real-time image-processing pipelines and inter-process communication on resource-constrained smart-camera hardware.
- Lead and participate in code reviews while maintaining quality standards with clang-tidy, clang-format, SonarQube, and zero warnings.
- Develop tests, documentation, debugging tools, and scripts for cross-compilation, analysis, and automated testing.
- Provide technical recommendations, mentor junior developers, and collaborate with internal, external, and customer-facing stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
- Expertise in modern C++17/20/23, multithreading, CMake, and dependency management with Conan or vcpkg.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, cross-platform development for Linux and Windows, IPC, and performance optimization.
- Experience with GTest, gdb, Valgrind, sanitizers, Git, GitHub, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, communicate effectively, and mentor junior team members.
Nice to have
- Experience with machine-vision libraries, Node.js N-API, D-Bus, ZeroMQ, or Boost.
- Experience using agentic AI programming tools such as Claude Code or GitHub Copilot.
