Program Manager, People & Culture PMO (HR): Establishing and leading a global HR project management office with an accent on portfolio governance, resource capacity planning, and benefits realization. What you will do
- Establish and mature the People & Culture PMO operating model, governance framework, intake process, prioritization model, and portfolio management practices.
- Manage a global HR project portfolio spanning HR technology, talent, total rewards, employee experience, workforce management, AI, compliance, and operational excellence.
- Lead governance reviews and portfolio reporting covering status, risks, dependencies, investment decisions, timelines, and business outcomes.
- Develop resource planning and capacity management processes, identifying constraints, conflicts, demand, and allocation risks.
- Define business cases, success measures, KPIs, benefits realization, and ROI for strategic initiatives.
- Coach HR practitioners, leaders, and sponsors while partnering with the Enterprise PMO and Process Excellence teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, Human Resources, Technology, or a related field.
- 8+ years of progressive experience in project management, program management, PMO leadership, or portfolio management.
- 5+ years leading enterprise or large-scale portfolios with multiple concurrent projects.
- Experience implementing PMO governance frameworks, managing strategic portfolios, and tracking resource allocation and workforce capacity.
- Experience developing business cases, measuring ROI, and tracking benefits realization.
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience in global, matrixed organizations.
Nice to have
- PMP, PgMP, PfMP, PMI-PMOCP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, PMI-ACP, or Lean Six Sigma certification.
- Experience supporting HR, People & Culture, HR technology, or transformation organizations.
- Experience with Workday and HR technology deployments.
- Familiarity with Planview, Clarity, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or similar portfolio management tools.
- Experience partnering with Process Excellence or Continuous Improvement teams.
