Database Administrator (Oracle/PostgreSQL): Administering and maintaining Oracle, PostgreSQL, and SQL Server database environments with an accent on high availability, disaster recovery, performance tuning, and automation. Focus on configuring Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, GoldenGate, and RMAN, optimizing queries with AWR and execution plans, and automating operations with Bash, PowerShell, and Python.
Location: Hybrid work once per week in Lisbon, Coimbra, or Braga, Portugal. Candidates must be based in Portugal and hold Portuguese or EU citizenship, or a valid work permit.

What you will do
- Administer Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, and MySQL database environments.
- Configure and maintain Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, GoldenGate, RMAN, and OEM/Cloud Control.
- Monitor systems and support disaster recovery operations.
- Perform database performance tuning using SQL Tuning Advisor, AWR, and execution plans.
- Automate database administration tasks with Bash, cron, PowerShell, and Python.
- Manage PostgreSQL backup, restore, maintenance, and security, including pg_dump, pg_restore, vacuum, SCRAM-SHA-256, and SSL.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Database Administrator.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, GoldenGate, RMAN, and OEM/Cloud Control.
- Experience with PostgreSQL administration and SQL Server Management Studio.
- Strong scripting skills with Bash, PowerShell, and Python.
- English proficiency at B2 level.
- Portuguese or EU citizenship, or a valid work permit, with a base in Portugal.
