Associate Manager, Commercial Education (Orthopaedics)

Location: Hybrid role in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, United States

Salary: $94,000–$170,000 annual base pay

Johnson & Johnson MedTech develops healthcare and orthopaedic solutions, with the role supporting the planned standalone DePuy Synthes orthopaedics business.

What you will do

• Implement commercial education strategies and content for the DePuy Synthes Joint Reconstruction organization.
• Design and deliver educational programs using adult learning principles, the 30-40-30 format, and professional facilitation.
• Train sales consultants across hip, knee, shoulder, and related digital surgery portfolios.
• Facilitate self-directed, live, virtual, and in-person learning using appropriate technology platforms.
• Partner with Global Education, Marketing, R&D, Sales Leadership, Healthcare Compliance, vendors, and other functions.
• Assess training needs, manage education assets, report on activities, and maintain alignment with company and legal requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of orthopaedic device experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, facilitation, collaboration, and project leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently, solve practical problems, adapt to a dynamic environment, and collaborate in a matrix organization.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and virtual meeting applications.
• Ability to support compliance with federal, state, local, and company regulations.

Nice to have

• Commercial experience in field sales, marketing, or a related function.
• Experience as an orthopaedic or medical device educator.
• Experience with modern educational technologies, technology-assisted surgery, or capital equipment.
• Knowledge of the DePuy Synthes product portfolio and experience developing educational content for virtual, in-person, internal, or field audiences.
