What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain database architectures for high availability, scalability, and performance.
• Optimize database systems, SQL queries, and access patterns for reliability and efficiency.
• Monitor database performance and troubleshoot operational issues.
• Implement scalable database designs, including replication, clustering, and backup strategies.
• Maintain data integrity, security, and compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
• Document database architecture, procedures, and processes while supporting development and operations teams.

Requirements

• 3–6 years of relevant experience in database administration, architecture, infrastructure, or a similar role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Expertise in MariaDB, MySQL, or Postgres, including replication, clustering, and backup strategies.
• Strong knowledge of database design, data modeling, normalization, SQL, and performance tuning.
• Experience with database security, data protection, cloud database services, and AWS RDS.
• Comfort with hybrid work and participation in a face-to-face interview. Candidates with a notice period of one month or less will be considered.
