TL;DR
Data Validator (HPLC, GC-MS) (Laboratory Data Validation): Processing, validating, calculating, and reporting analytical results from EHS matrix samples with an accent on chromatography, mass spectrometry, laboratory data quality, and ISO 17025 compliance. Focus on reviewing laboratory results, performing quality control checks and LIMS entries, resolving technical queries, and improving laboratory efficiency.

Location: Muntinlupa City, Metro Manila, Philippines; hybrid arrangement with onsite work required for 2 to 6 months depending on the affiliate country

What you will do

  • Process, validate, calculate, and report laboratory results from EHS matrix samples.
  • Perform laboratory data calculations, integrations, quality control checks, LIMS entries, and other data management activities.
  • Ensure testing methodologies and quality control procedures follow ISO 17025 and applicable hirify.global laboratory standards.
  • Monitor turnaround times, communicate operational issues, and respond to technical queries.
  • Support initiatives focused on quality, efficiency, accreditation, communication, and technical improvement.
  • Maintain knowledge of analytical procedures and comply with hirify.global integrity, QHSE, HR, and quality assurance policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree, preferably in Chemistry or a related science discipline.
  • At least one year of laboratory experience, including at least six months of SEM analysis, HPLC, GC, and/or GC-MS operating experience with formal training.
  • Experience reviewing laboratory data and a demonstrated commitment to data quality and operational excellence.
  • Strong knowledge of analytical instrumentation, particularly chromatography and mass spectrometry.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills and excellent written and verbal English communication at B2 or C1 level.
  • Must be amenable to onsite work for 2 to 6 months; the hybrid arrangement may vary by affiliate country.

Nice to have

  • Experience with LIMS, Chemstation, or Mass Hunter software.
