Annual base salary: $126,500–$208,700, plus eligibility for performance-based cash incentive awards.

What you will do
- Own the property technical discipline within the assigned territory.
- Conduct highly complex risk evaluations, identify exposures and loss controls, and communicate findings to Underwriting.
- Consult with customers and influence them to adopt improved risk-management practices.
- Mentor Risk Control consultants and Specialists, including reviewing survey reports and providing technical feedback.
- Track emerging issues and loss trends, maintain subject-matter expertise, and deliver discipline-specific training.
- Support technical leadership activities, including selected duties of the Technical Director when needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a science, engineering, or engineering technology discipline.
- At least six years of property risk assessment or consulting experience, or experience in the fire protection industry.
- Eight or more years of demonstrated expertise in property risk control or engineering is expected for the ideal candidate.
- Certification in a recognized risk control discipline, such as PE or CFPS.
- Strong communication, influencing, coaching, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to customer locations, including overnight and multi-night trips when required.
