TL;DR
Service Technician (Mechanical Equipment): Servicing, repairing, and overhauling mechanical seals, pumps, and rotating equipment with an accent on inspections, testing, failure analysis, and field service. Focus on troubleshooting customer-site equipment, managing spare parts and logistics, and maintaining workshop tools, measuring instruments, and calibration records.

Location: Tiszaújváros, Hungary; field service at customer sites as required

Salary: 8,000.000 HUF per month

What you will do

  • Service, repair, and overhaul mechanical seals, pumps, and rotating equipment.
  • Conduct inspections, testing, and failure analysis to identify technical issues.
  • Perform troubleshooting and maintenance during field service at customer sites.
  • Prepare service reports, technical documentation, equipment surveys, and technical evaluations.
  • Manage spare parts, tools, inventory, warehouse activities, and equipment logistics.
  • Maintain workshop equipment, measuring instruments, and calibration records while using the ERP system for transactions and stock accuracy.

Requirements

  • Technical education in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and engineering documentation.
  • IT skills with SAP ERP and MS Office.
  • Strong focus on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Organized, hands-on, and self-motivated working style.
  • Willingness to travel and work at customer sites when required.

Nice to have

  • Experience servicing pumps, mechanical seals, or rotating equipment.
  • Good English communication skills.
