Senior Portfolio Management Assistant (Healthcare)

Location: New York, New York; in-office at least four days per week with flexibility to work from home one day per week

Base salary: $76,700–$90,000 per year, plus potential variable compensation and benefits.

What you will do

• Support healthcare hedge fund portfolio construction and implementation across multiple portfolio management teams.
• Monitor portfolio cash and holdings, enter equity trade orders, and prepare daily, monthly, and quarterly portfolio reports.
• Ensure portfolios align with client guidelines and applicable regulations.
• Coordinate between portfolio management teams and Compliance, Operations, Technology, and other internal partners.
• Troubleshoot operational and technology issues, support platform implementation, and guide teams through related changes.
• Respond to portfolio analytics, transaction detail, and market commentary requests while supporting healthcare and biotech due diligence and maintaining team processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with multiple teams and organizational levels.
• Interest in programming languages and the ability to quickly learn specialized investment systems.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and timeliness.
• Valid U.S. work authorization without a current or future need for visa sponsorship is required.
