Machine Technician (Automotive Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Operate production machines and equipment, including presses, furnaces, automation, and machining centers.
• Load and unload presses, furnaces, and machines while rotating between assignments with minimal supervision.
• Inspect, test, measure, sort, and pack parts to identify imperfections and defects.
• Maintain production flow, part identification systems, quantity records, scrap reporting, and accurate data entry.
• Maintain Statistical Process Control charts, report out-of-control conditions, and segregate non-conforming materials.
• Guide and train lower-skilled personnel while maintaining communication across shifts and with supervisors.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Ability to work independently with limited direct supervision.
• Ability to read and follow detailed instructions, drawings, blueprints, POS, MOP, and SOP documents.
• Ability to use precision measuring instruments and electronic data-collection equipment.
• Ability to complete production reports, charts, quantity records, and other documentation accurately.
• Ability to identify safety and environmental hazards and communicate them promptly.
