What you will do
- Lead the manufacturing engineering staff and coordinate related functional groups.
- Develop manufacturing processes, investment plans, process flows, capacity analyses, equipment utilization plans, and program timing documentation for new products.
- Oversee sourcing of manufacturing equipment for automotive components and assemblies.
- Manage process launches, enforce timelines, and ensure quality standards and risk-mitigation requirements are met.
- Support operations with problem-solving guidance and systems solutions while improving yield, runtime, quality, safety, and manufacturing costs.
- Manage the CapEx budget and develop assessment, training, succession, and talent-development plans.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a similar discipline.
- At least 5 years of manufacturing experience.
- At least 2 years of progressive leadership experience.
- Experience developing and improving production manufacturing processes is required.
