TL;DR
Senior Data Scientist (AI/ML): Architecting and deploying enterprise AI/ML solutions across predictive modeling, generative AI, NLP, computer vision, and agentic systems with an accent on production-grade cloud platforms and responsible AI. Focus on designing scalable model architectures, building MLOps pipelines, integrating LLMs and AI agents, and governing model performance, fairness, and reliability.
Location: On-site in the offices in Sumaré, São Paulo, Brazil, at least four days per week. Travel may include up to 5% domestic or international travel.

What you will do
- Architect, develop, deploy, and manage advanced AI/ML solutions, including predictive models, generative AI, AI agents, NLP pipelines, and computer vision systems.
- Lead initiatives throughout the lifecycle from opportunity discovery and solution design to production deployment, monitoring, and performance management.
- Develop and optimize AI/ML pipelines using AWS Bedrock, AWS Agent Core, AWS SageMaker, Azure ML, and Databricks.
- Establish model validation, testing, governance, documentation, and responsible AI practices.
- Partner with data engineering, IT, A&I stakeholders, and business leaders to define roadmaps and embed solutions into enterprise workflows.
- Mentor data scientists and AI specialists while communicating technical strategies and model outcomes to technical and executive audiences.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of hands-on experience in data science, machine learning, or AI, including enterprise production deployments.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, data science, mathematics, engineering, statistics, or a related field.
- Advanced Python skills for data analysis, machine learning, AI development, API creation, workflow automation, and agentic architectures.
- Experience with LLMs, generative AI, AI agent architectures, LangChain, LangGraph, Hugging Face, or comparable frameworks.
- Expertise with TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, AWS Bedrock, AWS Agent Core, AWS SageMaker, Azure ML, MLOps, and data engineering principles.
- Professional English proficiency is required, with the ability to present AI strategies and outcomes to senior leadership.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of model explainability and responsible AI tools such as SHAP, LIME, or Fairlearn.
- Experience with Matplotlib, Seaborn, Power BI, and data storytelling.
- Enterprise AI/ML solution architecture experience.
- Software engineering practices including Git/GitHub, code review, and modular development.
- Spanish proficiency.
