What you will do

• Manage the indirect spend portfolio supporting operations across Japan and Korea.
• Develop and implement local sourcing strategies with the ANZ Indirect Team and global category leads in Amsterdam.
• Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including requirements scoping, RFPs, cost analysis, contracting, negotiation, and contract lifecycle management.
• Develop suppliers and maintain supplier relationships across categories including logistics, IT, facilities, marketing, HR services, travel, utilities, leases, and consultancies.
• Conduct value chain analysis and value engineering to deliver productivity improvements, cost efficiency, and savings.
• Improve visibility, compliance, and efficiency across tail spend while supporting the Direct Procurement team as needed.

Requirements

• Native-level Japanese and business-level English proficiency.
• Strong analytical skills and intermediate or advanced Excel proficiency.
• Knowledge of contract development and implementation.
• Exceptional negotiation and interpersonal skills for managing suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Ability to manage projects involving multiple stakeholders with different requirements.
• 1–2 years of logistics procurement experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is preferred; FMCG or food manufacturing experience is highly advantageous.
