Location: Herndon, Virginia, United States; work at the corporate office three days per week and in a SCIF as program and team needs dictate. U.S. Person status and an active TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly eligibility are mandatory.
Salary: $116,000–$154,000–$169,400 annually, depending on location, experience, qualifications, and market conditions.

What you will do
- Design, develop, test, and maintain modern web interfaces for enterprise-scale analytics applications.
- Build responsive, accessible, and high-performance front-end solutions using contemporary JavaScript frameworks.
- Integrate REST APIs, data services, visualization components, and geospatial data with back-end and data engineering teams.
- Develop dashboards, reporting tools, and interactive data exploration capabilities for large and complex datasets.
- Contribute to architecture discussions, technical strategy, code reviews, and front-end best practices.
- Support Agile ceremonies, troubleshoot production issues, and improve application performance and usability.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship or other qualifying U.S. Person status and an active TS/SCI clearance are required; willingness to obtain a CI Poly is mandatory.
- At least four years of professional technical experience and a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in software engineering, user interface design, graphics, or a related technical field.
- Strong UI/UX, responsive design, HTML, CSS, web accessibility, state management, component architecture, and front-end build tool skills.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, Python, Java, and R, including data extraction, manipulation, and visualization.
- Experience with React, Angular, or Vue, RESTful APIs, JSON-based data services, Git, CI/CD, Agile methodologies, and DevSecOps practices.
- Experience designing software solutions involving geospatial data types, formats, and standards.
Nice to have
- Federal government, defense, intelligence, or national security program experience.
- Experience with big data, analytics, AI/ML, or data visualization platforms and libraries such as D3, ECharts, or Plotly.
- Cloud-native experience with AWS, Azure Government, or Kubernetes, plus familiarity with microservices and API-driven design.
- Experience with automated testing tools such as Jest, Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium.
