Supervisor, Manufacturing (Biotechnology)

Location: Tuas, Singapore; onsite manufacturing role with 12-hour rotating day and night shifts, including weekends and public holidays

hirify.global is developing a new modular, digitalized, and automated manufacturing facility in Singapore for vaccines and Specialty Care Biologics products.

What you will do

• Lead the startup and operation of manufacturing areas for engineering and PPQ batches aimed at commercial production.
• Provide field leadership to biotechnologists and manage direct reports.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, HSE, safety regulations, and company procedures.
• Troubleshoot equipment and process issues while maintaining accurate production records.
• Drive continuous improvement, inventory management, and resource allocation.
• Collaborate on deviation investigations, change management, CAPA implementation, and regulatory inspection support.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with at least 8 years of relevant experience.
• Biotechnology or pharmaceutical manufacturing experience, including at least 2 years of people leadership.
• Experience with cGMP documentation and production record maintenance.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, prioritization, analytical, and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to work independently and cross-functionally in fast-paced, complex environments.
• Effective stakeholder communication, presentation, and technical writing skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Single Use Systems.
• Experience in a digitalized and automated facility using DeltaV and MES.
