TL;DR
Business Analyst (Agile product analysis): Defining business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process improvements for high-priority enterprise projects with an accent on product roadmapping, Agile delivery, and cross-functional collaboration. Focus on analyzing backend system information, coordinating complex workstreams, managing UAT and release decisions, and improving technology use through data-driven recommendations.

What you will do
- Analyze business problems and opportunities and recommend solutions aligned with organizational goals.
- Lead requirements elicitation, business analysis workstreams, and documentation for high-priority and complex projects.
- Define detailed requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, data mappings, state-flow diagrams, and supporting product documentation.
- Support product roadmapping, backlog management, prioritization, sprint planning, release decisions, and collaboration with product, design, business, and IT teams.
- Plan and execute user acceptance testing, evaluate defect impacts, and support issue resolution and software releases.
- Contribute to process improvement, change management, training materials, quality plans, and project deliverables.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- At least 2 years of business analysis experience in a development environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- Ability to analyze and document backend system information, including data mapping and microservice components, and knowledge of defect tracking processes and tools.
- Strong knowledge of business analysis, product and user experience design, Agile, Scrum, Scaled Agile, and Kanban methodologies.
- Experience with process improvement, structured and object-oriented analysis, vendor relationships, Six Sigma methods, and leading resources on complex projects.
Nice to have
- CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, or another business analysis certification.
- Experience in financial services or accounting.
