What you will do
- Manage daily customs activities supporting timely and compliant import and export operations.
- Advise on international Customs and Other Government Agency import/export requirements.
- Oversee outsourced customs brokerage services and report transactional performance metrics.
- Review shipping documentation and customs invoices, including valuation, commodity classification, and country of origin.
- Support shipment permits and licenses, and resolve SAP Global Trade Services screening blocks.
- Respond to stakeholders, support customs audits and inspections, and maintain import/export records.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of trade compliance experience.
- Certification in EU customs-related procedures and understanding of international customs and World Trade Organization regulations.
- Experience with EU customs procedures, customs valuation, commodity classification, and country-of-origin determination.
- Knowledge of GMP regulations and GDP requirements, with experience or education in international trade law.
- Experience with SAP/GTS or similar ERP systems, plus analytical, problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Must reside in the Netherlands or within commuting distance of Breda.

- Experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, or healthcare industry.
