Cost Analyst (Entry Level) (Cost Analysis/Forecasting): Performing cost and economic analyses, parametric forecasting, and life-cycle cost estimates for critical national programs with an accent on mathematical modeling, data analysis, and risk assessment. Focus on analyzing relationships between technical and schedule inputs, evaluating cost-benefit tradeoffs, and preparing management-level briefings.
Location: On-site at Hill AFB in Ogden, Utah, United States

What you will do
- Perform cost and economic analyses, estimates, and engineering support as part of an integrated product team.
- Conduct parametric forecasting and weapon-system life-cycle cost forecasting.
- Analyze datasets to identify relationships between costs, technical inputs, and schedule inputs.
- Perform risk analysis, earned value performance measurement, cost-benefit analysis, and software cost forecasting.
- Support strategy development, scheduling, market research, trade studies, and proposal evaluation activities.
- Interface with program offices and assist with management-level briefings and documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in operations research, engineering, economics, mathematics, statistics, or the sciences.
- At least 24 college-level semester hours in relevant quantitative, business, science, accounting, finance, or statistics-related subjects, including at least 3 semester hours of calculus.
- Strong verbal, written, quantitative, data analysis, forecasting, and estimating skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Project, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- U.S. citizenship is required; the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret and/or Top Secret clearance is required.
