Lead Data Architect (Data Architecture): Shaping end-to-end data architecture, logical data models, and data flows across operational, integration, analytical, and AI-driven use cases with an accent on data governance, quality, and scalable enterprise design. Focus on guiding engineering teams, documenting lineage and shared definitions, and ensuring secure, trusted data assets across a complex reinsurance landscape.
Location: Bratislava, Slovakia
Base salary: €3,400–€5,700 per month for a full-time role, plus performance-based variable compensation and location-specific benefits.

What you will do
- Translate business and IT requirements into actionable end-to-end data architecture designs.
- Create scalable logical data models and data flows for operational, integration, analytical, and AI-driven use cases.
- Guide engineers and delivery teams in implementing physical data models, data flows, and data access controls.
- Own and evolve data models, shared definitions, lineage documentation, and other architecture artefacts.
- Apply AI tools and techniques to improve the efficiency of the data architecture function.
- Ensure alignment with data governance standards, security requirements, and data quality expectations.
Requirements
- Proven expertise in 3NF and dimensional data modelling for operational, integration, and analytical use cases.
- Experience with data architecture patterns in complex enterprise environments.
- Practical experience with data sourcing, profiling, transformation, quality management, master and reference data, cataloguing, lifecycle management, and access management.
- Experience providing architectural guidance to engineering and delivery teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, including collaboration with multicultural and globally distributed teams.
- Availability to work in Bratislava, Slovakia.
Nice to have
- Property & Casualty insurance or reinsurance industry knowledge.
- Understanding of how data supports risk assessment and end-to-end business decision-making.
