Electro Mechanical Assembler I (Medical Devices)

Location: Warrendale, Pennsylvania, United States; on-site, 1st shift

Salary: $18.00–$20.00 per hour, depending on education, experience, and shift

What you will do

• Support assembly, testing, and packaging activities across medical device manufacturing production lines.
• Perform basic electro-mechanical assembly and quality control inspections while meeting department quality and productivity goals.
• Use hand-held screwdrivers and electric torque drivers.
• Maintain material inventory at the assigned workstation and keep the work area clean and safe.
• Identify, document, and report product defects using required quality and production forms.
• Follow established procedures, good manufacturing practices, and Health, Safety, Environment, Energy, and Quality Management Systems.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic reading and writing skills, including the ability to follow step-by-step directions.
• Basic computer navigation skills and adequate written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.
• Ability to identify materials and information on parts.
• Ability to regularly lift parts and components weighing up to 30 pounds.
