Fall Adjunct Faculty (Curriculum and Instruction) (On Campus)

What you will do

• Teach up to six semester credit hours in Curriculum and Instruction, based on student demand.
• Teach courses including Language & Literature for the Young Child, Science Principles for EC–Grade 6, and Social Studies Principles for EC–Grade 6.
• Hold office hours and assist students as needed.
• Communicate effectively and interact professionally with students and the general public.
• Plan, organize, and prioritize academic responsibilities while working under pressing timelines.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Education or a related field.
• Three years of EC–12 teaching experience.
• Availability to work on campus in Laredo, Texas.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work effectively under stress.
• Employment is contingent on credential verification and completion of a criminal history investigation.

Nice to have

• Previous collegiate-level teaching experience.
