Lease Operator (Oil and Gas)

Location: Midland, TX, United States; frequent travel to field locations and training sites.

What you will do

• Operate, test, and monitor assigned oil and gas wells, including injection and disposal wells.
• Gauge production, record downtime and well information, and maintain production and operations databases.
• Perform lease maintenance, minor repairs and adjustments, equipment servicing, and pumping-unit lubrication.
• Monitor rates, pressures, chemical use, meter calibrations, and daily safety-system tests.
• Maintain assigned company vehicles and keep lease areas clean and environmentally safe.
• Work weekends, holidays, unscheduled call-outs, and travel regularly to field locations and training sites.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of oilfield experience, or military experience at E4 rank or above with relevant technical skills.
• Valid driver's license and a driving record meeting the company's clean driving insurability standards.
• Basic understanding of oil and gas technical concepts, industry practices, standards, and government regulations.
• Ability to perform basic computer tasks and learn company-specific applications.
• Employment visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

• Self-starter who requires minimal supervision.
• Familiarity with oilfield terminology and operations.
