TL;DR
Sr SAP Tech Lead (ABAP, BTP and AI) (SAP ERP/automotive distribution): Leading the technical design and implementation of SAP S/4HANA solutions for a high-volume automotive distribution supply chain with an accent on ABAP development, SAP BTP integration, extensions, and AI-enabled innovation. Focus on designing WRICEFs, integrating SAP functional areas, resolving production issues, and delivering standardized enterprise solutions.
Location: Houston, Texas, United States; office and corporate campus work required. The role includes up to 20% domestic travel.

What you will do
- Lead technical design and solution architecture for a newly implemented SAP S/4HANA ERP system within an assigned functional area.
- Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into integrated SAP application solutions.
- Design, customize, develop, test, and support SAP applications, including WRICEF objects, extensions, and integrations.
- Investigate production defects and enhancement requests, implement solutions, and support post-go-live operations.
- Define and document solution architecture and technical designs while coordinating with functional, development, BASIS, security, architecture, and AMS teams.
- Research SAP releases, patches, OSS notes, and new technologies to improve automation and business transformation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
- 10+ years of IT experience and 10+ years of hands-on experience with SAP ABAP, SAP BTP, integrations, extensions, and AI technologies.
- Experience with SAP ERP implementation projects and post-go-live support; SAP S/4HANA experience is required.
- Experience with CDS Views, AMDP, SAP Fiori, OData Services, side-by-side extensions, IDocs, WRICEF objects, SAP Integration Suite, SAP Build, and SAP Joule.
- Experience preparing code reviews and technical design documents, mapping business processes, integration testing, configuration management, and process mapping.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must not require employer sponsorship now or in the future.
