PA Electro Mechanical Assembler I (Medical Devices)

Location: Warrendale, Pennsylvania, United States; onsite manufacturing floor

Salary: $18.00–$21.00 per hour, depending on education, experience, and work shift.

What you will do

• Provide floor support for medical device manufacturing production lines.
• Assemble, test, package, and perform quality control inspections for medical device components.
• Use handheld screwdrivers and electric torque drivers for basic electro-mechanical assembly.
• Maintain material inventory at the assigned workstation and keep the work area clean and safe.
• Identify, document, and report product defects using required quality and production forms.
• Follow established procedures, quality standards, good manufacturing practices, and health, safety, environment, energy, and quality management requirements.

Requirements

• English proficiency is required for speaking, reading, writing, understanding procedures, training materials, and workplace communications.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic reading and writing skills with the ability to follow step-by-step directions.
• Basic computer navigation skills and adequate written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately and thoroughly.
• Ability to identify parts and materials and regularly lift components weighing up to 30 pounds.
