Location: Greenville, North Carolina, United States — retail shop; frequent travel to internal field plants and external client sites within the assigned territory.

What you will do
- Evaluate customer welding and cutting practices through weld surveys and efficiency analyses.
- Identify operational bottlenecks and recommend safer, more efficient techniques and technologies.
- Support the growth of capital equipment, robotics, and automation solutions through advanced fabrication sales.
- Provide technical expertise on CNC cutting systems, robotic welding systems, and plasma/laser integration.
- Coordinate installation and servicing of fixed and robotic automation projects.
- Mentor welding specialists and deliver onsite product and application training for customers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent formalized welding experience.
- At least five years of experience in B2B or specialized sales.
- Reliable transportation, a current driver’s license, and minimum liability insurance required by the vehicle’s registration state.
- Experience supporting technical sales, capital equipment, robotics, automation, CNC cutting, or robotic welding solutions.
- Ability to travel frequently and work onsite at customer and field locations.
Nice to have
- Welding engineering degree or military welding training.
- At least four years of experience in the welding or industrial industry.
- Certified Welding Inspector certification.
- Membership in AWS, ASM, ASNT, ASQ, ASME, or SME.
