Summer 2027 IT Intern

Location: Oklahoma City, OK; must be willing to work onsite there for the duration of the internship

Independent oil and natural gas company focused on acquiring, developing, exploring, and exploiting unconventional onshore reserves in the Permian Basin.

What you will do

• Own an individual IT project throughout the approximately 12-week summer internship and present the completed project to the executive team.
• Work across application development, reporting and analytics, data integration, infrastructure, desktop management, and cybersecurity.
• Participate in release management activities and daily stand-up calls with IT teams.
• Review key IT controls supporting cybersecurity and SOX compliance.
• Collaborate with IT and business departments to understand system usage and support business outcomes.
• Provide quality, compliance, and administrative support while participating in community-focused intern activities.

Requirements

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a similar discipline.
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills.
• Must be willing to work in Oklahoma City, OK for the duration of the internship.
• Must be returning to school for the Fall 2027 semester.

Nice to have

• GPA of 3.20 or higher.
• Extracurricular achievements or prior work experience.
