Location: Remote or hybrid for candidates residing in Florida, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, or Texas

What you will do
- Lead actuarial analyses supporting pricing trends, network and area factors, provider performance, Medicare Advantage, forecasting, and other healthcare initiatives.
- Manipulate and analyze data using SQL, Databricks, and Excel.
- Maintain and improve pricing trend and network/area factor methodologies, processes, and documentation.
- Oversee Medicare Advantage IBNR, quarterly and annual statements, risk adjustment analysis, bid support, and related projects.
- Support the corporate reinsurance program and value-based care trend activities.
- Manage department workflows, coach direct reports, prepare management reports, and represent actuarial perspectives on cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, or a related field.
- At least five years of actuarial experience and three years of healthcare industry experience.
- ASA licensure or certification.
- Ability to meet department attendance and timeliness requirements and work effectively with teams and customers.
- Residence in one of the listed U.S. states is required for the remote or hybrid arrangement.
Nice to have
- Three years of leadership experience.
- Experience leading healthcare actuarial analyses and developing actuarial methodologies.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, including the ability to explain complex findings to business and executive leadership.
- Experience improving actuarial processes through automation, artificial intelligence, or advanced analytics.
