Field Operator, Level 1-5 (SACROC)

What you will do

• Operate SACROC production wells and facilities safely in accordance with regulatory guidelines and company policies.
• Maintain and operate submersible pumps, manifold separators, tank batteries, and other production and rotating equipment.
• Operate a low-pressure gas compressor facility, water injection facility, and oil transfer facility.
• Test production wells, collect production readings, coordinate with area operators, and enter accurate information into the Prodnet database.
• Perform lockout/tagout procedures, assist with equipment repairs, and report safety hazards.
• Support hot work and confined-space permitting after training and cover vacation schedules as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of experience operating in the oil and gas industry.
• Operational knowledge of centrifugal pumps, three-phase separation, and process flow.
• Knowledge of pneumatic and electrical controls and their relationship to process equipment.
• Ability to work with pressures ranging from 0 to 2,200 psi and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Previous lockout/tagout and H2S training is preferred.
