Associate Director, Postgraduate Recruitment (Marketing and Recruitment): Leading domestic postgraduate recruitment strategy, acquisition and partnerships for professional, postgraduate, and doctoral learners with an accent on B2C and B2B funnel performance, forecasting, and team development. Focus on building employer and government partnerships, improving conversion through CRM and analytics, and developing AI-enabled recruitment tools.
Location: Auckland City Campus, Auckland, New Zealand; hybrid working with a mix of on-site and work-from-home
Salary: $134,900–$202,500 per annum, Band J, based on experience

What you will do
- Define and lead the domestic postgraduate recruitment strategy and operating framework across key market segments.
- Drive measurable growth across the recruitment funnel, from awareness and lead generation through conversion and enrolment.
- Build strategic partnerships with employers, industry bodies, and government organisations across B2C and B2B channels.
- Establish forecasting, reporting, lead scoring, pipeline management, and performance frameworks.
- Lead service improvement, conversion optimisation, recruitment innovation, and the development of AI-enabled tools.
- Build a high-performing team, manage budgets and investment decisions, and provide strategic growth advice to senior stakeholders.
Requirements
- Significant experience leading acquisition, sales, partnership, commercial growth, or related management functions.
- Demonstrated success delivering year-over-year business growth and managing performance targets.
- Experience leading high-performing teams and developing organisational capability.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen, with experience managing pipelines and growth initiatives.
- Experience using CRM, automation, analytics, and reporting to improve outcomes.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, influencing, negotiation, judgement, and results orientation.
Nice to have
- Experience in SaaS, telecommunications, subscription organisations, financial services, marketplaces, or education.
- Experience operating within complex organisations with multiple stakeholder groups.
