Governance & Operations Manager (Temporary) (Legal & Compliance operations): Owning governance and operational frameworks, operational risk management, and internal reporting across a global Legal & Compliance function with an accent on risk and control frameworks, performance metrics, and stakeholder management. Focus on advising senior stakeholders, constructively challenging existing approaches, improving operational processes, and supporting management decision-making through accurate reporting.
Location: Bratislava, Slovakia; hybrid
Salary: €2,900–€4,900 per month plus performance-based variable compensation.

What you will do
- Own and continuously improve selected governance and operational frameworks within Legal & Compliance.
- Manage framework-related processes, controls, approvals, and reporting activities.
- Coordinate operational risk management, including risk and control processes, operational issues and events, control testing, and reporting.
- Advise Legal & Compliance stakeholders on operational risk and act as an interface with Group Operational Risk Management.
- Prepare internal reporting deliverables and key performance indicators to support management decision-making.
- Lead or contribute to operational and strategic continuous-improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Law, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in governance, operations, consulting, risk management, compliance, or a similar corporate function.
- Good understanding of risk and control frameworks, governance processes, and operational risk management principles.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills, including experience with data, reporting, and performance metrics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English required.
- Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills across organizational levels.
Nice to have
- Experience in a Legal, Compliance, or Risk Management environment.
- Experience managing budgets, forecasts, and financial planning activities.
