Focus on configuring AP workflows, improving processes, maintaining compliant vendor records, and scaling AP operations in a high-growth AI wildfire-intelligence company.
Location: US - Remote
Salary: $80K–$110K annually, plus equity.

develops AI-powered wildfire detection and intelligence technology that combines high-definition cameras, software, satellite imagery, and other data sources to provide real-time situational awareness for fire professionals.
What you will do
- Own full-cycle coding and reconciliation of bank transactions, including GL coding and month-end close support.
- Manage Zip procure-to-pay workflows, purchase order matching, approval routing, and vendor invoice processing.
- Review and code Ramp transactions, ensuring employee-spend policy compliance.
- Manage the AP inbox, resolve inquiries, and lead the month-end AP accrual process.
- Configure and maintain Zip and Ramp workflows, integrations, and system settings.
- Improve AP processes, maintain documentation and training materials, and support internal and external audits.
Requirements
- 6+ years of accounts payable experience, including 1–2 years in a lead or manager capacity.
- Experience in an early-stage or high-growth company.
- Hands-on experience with Zip or a similar procure-to-pay platform and Ramp or a similar corporate card and expense platform.
- Strong understanding of GL coding, chart of accounts, and accrual-based accounting.
- Experience with NetSuite, Sage Intacct, or QuickBooks.
- Experience supporting audits and preparing 1099 reporting.
