Network Infrastructure Engineer (Cisco)

What you will do

• Design and architect enterprise network and security solutions aligned with industry standards and vendor best practices.
• Manage and oversee deployments involving routing, switching, wireless, SD-WAN, security, and cloud networking.
• Troubleshoot complex networking, security, and connectivity issues across client environments.
• Lead project delivery, managed services engagements, escalations, and technical consultations.
• Create network diagrams, architecture documentation, standards, runbooks, and operational procedures.
• Advise clients and collaborate with project managers, delivery teams, sales teams, vendors, and stakeholders.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of hands-on experience designing, deploying, and supporting enterprise network infrastructure.
• Current Cisco CCIE certification is required.
• Extensive experience with routing, switching, wireless networking, segmentation, security architecture, Layer 2 and Layer 3 technologies, high availability, and resiliency.
• Experience implementing and supporting complex network security solutions.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and customer-facing consulting skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and workstreams independently with minimal oversight.

Nice to have

• Experience with Cisco Catalyst, Nexus, Meraki, SD-WAN, SASE, Palo Alto Networks, Panorama, Strata Cloud Manager, Prisma, Cisco ISE, Aruba ClearPass, Zero Trust, LogicMonitor, and network observability platforms.
• Knowledge of network automation, scripting, infrastructure as code, firewall policy design, and segmentation.
• Additional certifications in Cisco CCIE Security, Palo Alto Networks technologies, or Microsoft Azure networking.
• Experience mentoring network engineering teams and contributing to standards, service development, estimates, statements of work, and technical proposals.
