Global Materials Functional Lead (Automotive)

Location: Krakow, Poland; hybrid work with 47 remote days per year and flexible working hours.

What you will do

• Lead the global Materials function and ensure strategy adoption across regions and teams.
• Consolidate CAPEX investments, manage the global materials budget, and support global footprint planning.
• Build, structure, and develop the Materials organization and manage a global team of materials engineers.
• Develop materials capabilities, maintain the Materials Handbook, and ensure high-quality engineering services and standards compliance.
• Manage strategic vendors, negotiate materials management tool packages, and drive adoption of innovative concepts and tools.
• Coordinate with engineering, product development, operations, IT, Cordset, external organizations, and senior leadership.

Requirements

• Engineering degree.
• At least 5 years of management experience.
• Fluent English.
• Very good Microsoft Office skills.
• Mobility and ability to work in a global matrix organization.
• Ability to ensure compliance with quality management system requirements and company standards.

Nice to have

• Automotive industry experience.
• German language skills.
