Location: Shannon, Clare, Ireland; on-site role with 20% travel

Crane Aerospace & Electronics develops aerospace and electronic systems, with this role supporting the Panametrics business.

What you will do

  • Lead the Panametrics sourcing strategic team and execute global sourcing strategies.
  • Combine sourcing and buying team activities by defining clear roles and responsibilities aligned with customer requirements.
  • Develop and manage sourcing projects, programs, and procurement delivery plans.
  • Partner with business leadership and regional teams to improve on-time delivery and quality for key orders and projects.
  • Manage purchasing, contract administration, logistics strategy, new product introduction, and strategic sourcing activities.
  • Drive supplier development, productivity, deflation projects, and metrics covering delivery, savings, quality, and service.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.
  • At least five additional years of experience in a sourcing position.
  • Experience leading sourcing teams and managing people-related activities, including recruiting and performance management.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex situations daily.
  • Willingness and ability to travel 20% of the time.

  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Negotiation expertise.
  • CPM or APICS certification.
