Report Developer

TL;DR

Report Developer (Fintech): Designing, developing, and optimizing business reports using Windward Report Builder and migrating the reporting platform to SSRS/PowerBI, with an accent on data extraction, transformation, and manipulation using SQL and PL/SQL. Focus on ensuring report accuracy, performance, and scalability in a team environment.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain custom reports using Windward Report Builder.
• Work with SQL and PL/SQL to extract, transform, and manipulate data for reporting purposes.
• Develop and optimize Python/Django-based reporting solutions.
• Collaborate with business users and stakeholders to gather and analyze reporting requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to report generation and data inconsistencies.
• Maintain proper documentation of reporting processes, data models, and queries.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Report development using Windward / PowerBI / SSRS.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL for database querying and optimization.
• Hands-on experience with Windward Report Builder, or similar, for designing and generating reports.
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and reporting best practices.
• Ability to analyze complex datasets and create meaningful, user-friendly reports.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Nice to have

• Degree/Diploma in Development or technical field
• Knowledge/experience working within Financial Services
• Knowledge of cloud - Azure experience (Azure Certifications are advantageous)
• Knowledge of working with in an Agile and DevOps environment
