Head of Regional Investment Operations

What you will do

• Lead the day-to-day management of APAC Investment Operations and manage a team delivering operational support for front office and client activities.
• Oversee trade process management, cashflows, client queries, client onboarding, servicing, and reporting for pooled funds and segregated mandates.
• Set the regional strategy for investment operations, including systems, talent management, technology projects, and process improvement.
• Implement strategic initiatives, long-term growth plans, and operating models for new products and asset classes such as ETFs, private equity, multi-asset products, AUT funds, and derivatives.
• Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and represent Operations on regional committees and boards.
• Develop, motivate, and support the team while ensuring high-quality outcomes and effective service for clients.

Requirements

• Strong experience in Investment Operations and broad Client Operations, ideally within a global asset manager or asset servicer.
• Proven experience as a hands-on people manager and player-coach in complex, fast-paced global environments.
• In-depth knowledge of multiple asset classes, including equities, fixed income, listed derivatives, and OTC derivatives.
• Strong understanding of APAC client needs across separately managed accounts and pooled funds.
• Knowledge of the regulatory, compliance, and legal environment for the regional asset management industry.
• Excellent communication, influencing, analytical, organizational, and stakeholder-management skills.
