Software Engineer - (Sr. Spark) (Apache Spark): Building end-to-end big data processing systems and enterprise data platforms with an accent on Spark, Spark SQL, data ingestion, data lakes, ETL, and data warehouses. Focus on designing efficient cloud and multi-cloud production deployments, resolving delivery blockers, and mentoring engineering teams.

Location: Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, or Vijayawada, India

What you will do

  • Design, build, operate, test, and deploy end-to-end data processing systems.
  • Develop big data solutions using Spark, Spark SQL, databases, streaming platforms, and data warehouses.
  • Build enterprise data platforms covering data ingestion, data lakes, ETL, and data warehouses.
  • Create efficient production deployments for data projects using native cloud provider services.
  • Track project progress, identify delivery blockers, and resolve them with team members.
  • Support client-facing communication and mentor engineering team members.

Requirements

  • Experience with object-oriented design and implementation.
  • Strong coding, debugging, communication, and articulation skills.
  • Experience with Spark, Spark SQL, and associated big data technologies.
  • Experience creating efficient cloud deployments for data projects.
  • Leadership and mentoring experience.
  • Availability for a full-time role in Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, or Vijayawada, India.

Nice to have

  • Experience with multi-cloud deployments.
  • Knowledge of Hadoop, HDFS, Hive, Impala, HBase, MongoDB, Cassandra, or Kafka.
  • Domain knowledge in healthcare, BFSI, or retail.
