Cybersecurity Engineer, Internal Security (Cybersecurity)

Location: Tallinn, Estonia; hybrid work with at least 12 monthly in-office days

What you will do

• Act as a security expert and advisor to engineering teams across Bolt’s user and entity ecosystem.
• Create and maintain threat models covering modern security threats.
• Contribute to detection engineering initiatives for potential and active attacks.
• Build tools for security automation, monitoring, detection, discovery, and mitigation.
• Research emerging IT security methods, tools, and attack techniques.

Requirements

• Programming and scripting experience with modern software development practices.
• University degree in cybersecurity or a related field.
• Experience investigating logs, identifying anomalies, and creating detection rules with log management platforms and SIEM tools.
• Experience using security technologies including EDR, MDM, Linux, macOS, and security case management platforms.
• Background in malware analysis, incident response, digital forensics, threat intelligence, penetration testing, or reverse engineering.
• Understanding of identity and access management principles, including least privilege.
