What you will do
- Design, construct, and optimize genetic libraries for CRISPR perturbation, reporter assays, overexpression systems, and multiplexed functional studies.
- Develop complex phenotypic assays, including FACS-based workflows, high-content imaging, pooled optical screens, and massively parallel reporter assays.
- Engineer and characterize primary and advanced cellular models, including immune cells, iPSCs, organoids, co-culture systems, and 3D cellular architectures.
- Implement pooled and arrayed screening platforms and optimize perturbation library delivery, expression, and representation.
- Collaborate with computational scientists on experimental metadata, data quality, interpretation, and basic computational analysis.
- Drive assay innovation, document and present findings, support strategic project planning, and develop expertise in spatial omics and related genomics areas.
Requirements
- PhD in genetics, genomics, molecular biology, cell biology, systems biology, human biology, or a related discipline.
- Post-doctoral fellowship in a related field, or industry experience delivering completed complex projects.
- At least 3 years of biotech or pharmaceutical industry experience, or post-doctoral/academic staff scientist experience in a deeply technical role.
- Deep technical expertise in massively parallel cell perturbation using genetic tools, including end-to-end workflows, limitations, and mitigation strategies.
- Experience with complex models, genetic screens, cross-disciplinary collaboration, and high-impact scientific deliverables.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
Nice to have
- Proficiency in R or Python.
- Experience with spatial omics, in vivo screens, histology, pathology, or NGS.
