Compliance Testing, Associate Consultant / Consultant (Financial Compliance)

What you will do

• Review and interpret current and proposed laws and regulations to develop appropriate compliance testing plans.
• Independently define review scope, test steps, and testing procedures.
• Conduct, document, validate, and summarize testing reviews covering regulations, legislation, and internal policies.
• Analyze information to identify compliance weaknesses, exceptions, and opportunities to improve procedures.
• Advise Compliance and business management on potential issues, discuss results, and challenge responses when appropriate.
• Track remediation actions to closure, perform validation testing, and coordinate testing efforts with Internal Audit.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of experience in compliance, compliance testing, monitoring, or auditing.
• Graduate-level education or equivalent.
• Knowledge of regulations and key regulatory developments.
• Strong analytical, written, oral communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Confidence to advise and challenge senior management, work independently, and collaborate effectively.
• Ability to manage multiple competing deadlines with strong attention to detail.

• Relevant professional certifications or an advanced degree.
• Experience mentoring junior employees and reviewing the work of others.
