Director, Emerging Technology - Global Business Development (AI)

Annual base salary: $165,000–$190,000 USD

What you will do

• Source and maintain a pipeline of AI companies, tools, and models aligned with creative and business priorities.
• Evaluate vendors, document findings, and manage relationships around product roadmaps, performance, and implementation needs.
• Guide selected AI engagements through contracting, security reviews, approvals, launch logistics, and scaled organizational rollouts.
• Coordinate stakeholder communications, training workshops, onboarding materials, case studies, and feedback loops to increase adoption and measured impact.
• Lead day-to-day execution of R&D programs across content production, business operations, and consumer experiences.
• Prepare executive briefings and reports highlighting progress, insights, opportunities, and recommendations.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience using generative AI tools for content production and business workflows, with strong prompt engineering skills.
• Conceptual understanding of model training and fine-tuning; experience with agentic workflows is preferred.
• Experience tracking AI models, tools, and vendors and distinguishing practical value from hype.
• Proven experience assessing startups or products, running pilots, managing scaled rollouts, and influencing execution.
• Experience with project management, enterprise innovation, change management, training, onboarding, and internal communities.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills, including the ability to translate technical concepts into actionable recommendations.
