Salary: $23.00–$27.54 per hour

What you will do

  • Perform in-circuit testing of printed circuit boards using automated test equipment.
  • Test and troubleshoot through-hole and SMT electronic assemblies to the component level.
  • Use digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and function generators to analyze failures.
  • Monitor and diagnose communication-bus traffic and resolve electronic issues.
  • Identify manufacturing root causes and help prevent recurring failures.
  • Complete quality assurance activities and technical documentation.

Requirements

  • In-depth knowledge of digital and analog electronic theory.
  • Experience with bench-top electronic test equipment and systematic troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of quality standards and production techniques.
  • Ability to read electronic schematics, mechanical drawings, data sheets, specifications, and block diagrams.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate issues to engineering and production personnel.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.

Nice to have

  • Two-year technical degree or equivalent related education and experience.
  • At least two years of experience testing and repairing complex assemblies and systems to the component level.
  • Ability to solder for minor rework and repairs.
