What you will do
- Supervise mobile crews performing railroad track construction, maintenance, repair, alteration, and demolition.
- Schedule daily jobs and crews, support Foremen with planning, and coordinate staffing, equipment, and materials with the Area Manager.
- Monitor job-site progress, productivity, customer requirements, safety, and compliance with PPE and company procedures.
- Conduct safety meetings, JSA reviews, equipment inspections, and at least 12 documented safety inspections per month.
- Inspect railroad tracks and prepare detailed reports while reviewing timesheets, truck records, and job documentation.
- Coordinate equipment and material deliveries, oversee maintenance of tools and crew trucks, and respond to emergencies when required.
Requirements
- Previous railroad construction and maintenance experience.
- Knowledge of railroad track specifications, standards, construction practices, tools, and equipment.
- Experience supervising or leading mobile construction crews.
- Valid driver's license with no more than three moving violations in the past three years.
- Ability to travel extensively, work outdoors in inclement weather, and handle demanding job-site conditions.
- Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug testing; high school diploma or GED preferred.

- Track Inspector Certification or the ability to obtain certification if required.
