Systems Engineer (Automation)

Location: Hsinchu, Taiwan; on-site customer support and travel required

Salary: NT$942,999.64–NT$1,275,823.04 TWD per year

What you will do

• Define and implement system requirements for customer solutions and internal projects.
• Analyze existing systems and prepare feasibility studies for improvements and new designs.
• Specify system inputs, outputs, and hardware-software compatibility requirements.
• Coordinate subsystem design and manage end-to-end system integration.
• Identify and resolve technical issues through design, assembly, debugging, validation, and the product lifecycle.
• Provide on-site installation, integration, and troubleshooting support at customer facilities, including cleanroom environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Computing, or related Engineering.
• 2–4 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
• Hands-on experience with hardware assembly, troubleshooting, and testing.
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or JavaScript.
• Strong written and verbal English communication; willingness to travel to customer sites and follow cleanroom safety protocols.

Nice to have

• Experience in system integration or product validation.
• Knowledge of automation tools and software debugging tools.
• Understanding of hardware-software interaction.
• Familiarity with cleanroom procedures and ESD safety practices.
