Financial Data Associate - Transformation & Onboarding, Liquid Markets Transparency Data

Location: Sofia, Bulgaria; hybrid role

Salary: €25,000–€33,000 per year, plus eligibility for an annual bonus.

What you will do

• Process, review, validate, and resolve queries related to fund, portfolio, positions, and exposures data.
• Use AI-assisted tools, large language models, automated extraction, and reconciliation platforms to improve data capture and quality review.
• Identify recurring data tasks suitable for AI and automation, and collaborate with internal teams to pilot and scale solutions.
• Provide first-tier data support to clients and help develop best practices for their product and system use.
• Coordinate client data projects by defining scope, objectives, project plans, stakeholders, and technical requirements.
• Work with Data, Engineering, Product, and Consulting teams to resolve data gaps and maintain client solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Mathematics, or a similar field is beneficial but not required.
• 2–4 years of experience in finance, accounting, investment, data, or operations.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy when working with financial and investment data.
• Comfort with data automation and willingness to learn emerging technologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, or Replit and lightweight automation is advantageous but not required.

Nice to have

• Process improvement, querying, scripting, or no-code automation experience.
• Portfolio analysis, performance measurement, or investment analytics expertise.
• Microsoft Excel proficiency.
• Progress toward CFA, CAIA, CIPM, or FRM.
• Training, consulting, or client presentation experience.
