Trainee Transport & Data Analyst

Location: Paris, France; onsite

Annual base salary: €14,400–€18,000

What you will do

• Update the freight-rates database using information from buyers.
• Correct obsolete carrier and equipment records and standardize postal codes and city names.
• Monitor daily pre-billing reporting errors and analyze manual price changes by plant.
• Search for and correct inaccurate transportation distances.
• Extract European fuel indexes from IRU sources.
• Provide occasional support to plants using the pre-billing tool and report internship progress.

Requirements

• Current university student or graduate in transportation, logistics, procurement, data analysis, accounting, or finance controlling; a business school background is also relevant.
• Good knowledge of the transportation environment and fundamental transport regulations.
• Understanding of corporate accounting management.
• Good Excel skills and familiarity with office productivity tools.
• Intermediate to good French and native to fluent English are required.
• Rigorous, analytical, curious, adaptable, reactive, and collaborative approach.

Nice to have

• Experience with Excel Power Query, Power Automate, Power BI, or Python.
• Knowledge of SAP.
• German and/or Spanish language skills.
