Location: Bogotá, Colombia; hybrid work. Up to 10% international travel and flexible shifts may be required to support Americas, EMEA, and Asia responsibilities.

What you will do
- Lead accounting operations and daily activities for the Global Services Finance Accounting process area.
- Manage timely financial-period close and execution in line with service-level commitments, compliance, internal audit, and SOX requirements.
- Ensure completeness, accuracy, and validity of reported actuals, while maintaining effective internal controls.
- Lead and develop a large accounting team, including performance management and succession planning.
- Support auditors and legal authorities, monitor risks, and coordinate remediation with stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement, process transformation, innovation, and cross-region alignment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business discipline.
- At least 7 years of professional experience, including 5 years in a supervisory or first-line leadership role within a shared-service or BPO organization.
- Experience leading large teams of approximately 15 or more people and working in a global Account to Report function.
- Experience with multiple work migrations, continuous improvement, or organizational and process transformation.
- Strong accountability, strategic thinking, communication, organization, stakeholder-management, and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent English is required; flexible shifts and up to 10% international travel are required.
Nice to have
- CPA, CMA, MBA, or another financial certification.
- US GAAP accounting knowledge.
- Digital or intelligent automation capabilities.
- Additional language skills.
