What you will do
- Review and approve employee benefit elections and enter benefit deductions into the payroll system.
- Serve as the primary contact for employees and insured family members, providing clear information about benefit offerings.
- Maintain confidential employee benefit records and files.
- Track compliance with paid state leave laws.
- Conduct benefit orientations and distribute materials required by federal, state, and local regulations.
Requirements
- Associate's degree and 2+ years of relevant HR experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Organization, professionalism, ownership, confidentiality, and strong customer service skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree in Business or Human Resources.
- Customer service experience.
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification.
- Bilingual English and Spanish skills.
