Solutions Architect (DoD)

Location: Arlington, Virginia, United States; Workplace: On-site. The role supports the DoD - TS/SCI department and includes up to 10% occasional travel.

Salary: $107,000–$220,000 per year.

What you will do

• Translate complex warfighter mission needs into feasible end-to-end technical solutions on the War Data Platform.
• Work with mission owners and the Solution Consultant team during the intake process to understand requirements.
• Design solution blueprints, high-level integration patterns, data flows, and service compositions.
• Ensure proposed solutions leverage existing platform services and capabilities effectively.
• Provide detailed architectural guidance for development teams beginning implementation.

Requirements

• SECRET security clearance required.
• Junior: 0–3 years of experience and a bachelor's degree; Journeyman: 4–7 years and a bachelor's degree; Senior: 8+ years and a bachelor's degree.
• Good communication skills and a self-starter mindset.
• Professional proficiency in English required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Must be currently authorized to work full-time in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
• Ability to sit at a computer terminal for extended periods and perform required sitting, standing, speaking, hearing, and computer-use activities.
